We work with reliable suppliers, so we can deliver the highest quality to our buyers.

Acquiring raw materials is a constant challenge in the recycled metals industry. Therefore, we only work with proven suppliers who understand that any product they bring us must meet our high quality standards.

All deliveries are visually inspected by trained sorters who look for oil, moisture and any other harmful impurities that can interfere with downstream processing. In addition, radiation detectors are strategically located in each facility.

Our strict adherence to quality control throughout the entire process ensures the integrity of our final product, as well as timely sorting and fair settlements.

Allied Alloys places extra emphasis into the initial inventory phase by applying four different types of analytical instruments to determine exactly what is being received:

  • Hand-held Niton portable XRF scanners
  • Table-top fuse spectroscopes
  • Optical emissions spectrometers
  • XRF emissions spectrometers

This allows us to enter detailed records into our software system and search for more variables at the time of processing alloy blend orders. Bar coded tags are used to provide an accurate record of all received materials and allow us to trace the origin of each component.

A more thorough inspection protocol means that our suppliers get more for their metal, because we can pay for exactly what we get. For many Allied customers, that means more dollars to the bottom line.

A more thorough inspection protocol means that the metal we supply to our customers is pure and accurate to the highest standards. Whether the delivery is a single metal or a specified alloy, our customers get exactly what they ordered - nothing more and nothing less.
